Welcome
I'm Scott, and I've got a diverse and eclectic range of interests - Faith, Science, Technology, Culture, Politics, and more. There are interesting places where these areas intersect with one another, sometimes harmoniously and other times in a massive clash. Both types of interactions are fuel for learning, so I enjoy digging in to see what can be learned.
Look for the News section to see my latest writings and musings. In the menu bar, look for "timelines" to see some nifty research into Bible manuscripts and artifacts.
I know blogs and social media posts are everywhere - it is the CMB (cosmic microwave background) of communication. I hope this crazy collection is a little more though, digging in to the 'why' of things and not just being more noise. The content posted here interests me - and I hope you'll enjoy it, too.
<< Update 2026-06 - Yes, I know the site is looking broken. I migrated my site to a newer server, then applied a security update to the content manager. Between those two tasks, I've got images and links going to alternate dimensions. I will make efforts to clean it up and design a new theme that better fits my intentions for the site. Thanks for your patience >>
